us, for example, through a registration form or contact form. We highly value the privacy of our
customers and therefore exercise the utmost care in handling and protecting personal data. We process
data in accordance with the requirements set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Mwendo Connect is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR regarding the processing of
your personal data. This means that we alone determine which personal data is processed, for what
purpose, and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed fairly
and carefully in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement, we explain which data we process
and for what purposes they are used.

your consent, provided it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or is
necessary for the protection of the legitimate interests of Mwendo Connect. Additionally, we may be
legally required to process your personal data.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:

● Sending our newsletter and/or promotional brochure
● Being able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services

companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure
the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processes.
Outside of the aforementioned situations, we will only disclose your personal data to other third parties
with your explicit consent.

Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless you have given
explicit permission. We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, such as to inform you
further about our services or relevant products or services from carefully selected organizations. In such
cases, you will only be informed at the email address or phone number you have registered. If you do not
wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily indicate this by clicking
“unsubscribe” in the received email or contact me personally.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer, withdrawal of your consent, or
objection to the processing of your personal data to info@mwendoconnect.com. To ensure the request
for access was made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your identity document with the request.
In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the
bottom of the passport), and passport number.. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your
request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
